Dallas fibroid doctor Danny Chan, MD, MBA has championed women’s health for decades. In 2012 he co-founded the first independent vascular and interventional radiology practice in DFW to help patients avoid major surgery by using minimally invasive techniques. He strongly believes that uterine fibroids don’t have to keep women from living their best lives. By educating women about non-surgical fibroid treatment and providing superlative medical care, Dr. Chan helps patients become fibroid free.
About Danny Chan, MD, MBA
Dallas fibroid doctor Danny Chan, MD, MBA is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology and in vascular and interventional radiology. He has an additional Registered Physician Vascular Interpreter (RPVI) certification.
- Earned his MD at St. Louis University School of Medicine.
- Completed a general surgery internship at New York Medical College, Westchester County Medical Center and a diagnostic radiology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York City.
- Received Fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute.
- Was the medical director of Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory at St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas, Texas for many years.
- Served as an assistant professor in the division of interventional radiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
- Earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2012.
- Has published numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and presents at medical association meetings nationwide.

“I enjoy helping patients solve complex problems. It is rewarding when patients understand their symptoms are real and meaningful not only to them but to me as well,” Dr. Chan says.

In his free time, Dr. Chan enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and exploring new restaurants. He has a special interest in watching his sons play basketball and his daughter play basketball. He gets inspired by the power of sports in helping mold young lives and the community.
